We do service timepieces within the network of brand-specific service centers for the watch companies we represent. Turn-around times vary depending on the brand and scope of work required to repair the timepiece. We are pleased to provide an estimate prior to service at your request.

With limited exception, we are only able to repair or service timepieces from the brands with which we are affiliated.

“Vintage” typically refers to timepieces which are thirty years old or older, are historically significant or retired models which have an element of collectability. “Pre-owned” timepieces are more modern, yet used.

Although we are able to change watch batteries on certain timepieces, we do not have an in-house watchmaker, so we are not always able to assuredly reseal case backs or guarantee your timepiece will have any degree of water resistance after a battery change. To ensure the proper function and maintenance of your timepiece, we encourage you to have any repairs made by a qualified watchmaker who is authorized to repair your specific watch brand and using the proper tools & spare parts.

Service frequency can vary depending on the brand, age and model of your timepiece, as well as the degree of wear & impact the watch regularly sustains.

We are able to repair and/or restore most antique jewelry items and will always give our best recommendation to ensure the value and wearability of a piece prior to beginning any repairs.

For items purchased at Fourtane, we provide a complimentary written appraisal on request. For items not originally purchased at Fourtane, we are pleased to refer you to an independent GIA graduate gemologist for jewelry appraisal services.

We do purchase pre-owned modern, estate and antique jewelry. Please visit the shop with your pieces for a complimentary evaluation. If you are unable to visit in person, you may email us some photos and as much information as possible. We will assist you with any necessary logistics on an individual basis.
